The Word of God is Living and Powerful

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)

As I mentioned yesterday the Word of God is the very breath of God. God's Word is living, breathing, and powerful. This divine supernatural power penetrates our innermost parts. It exposes, analyzes, and judges our inner thoughts and intentions of our heart. In other words it brings to light the things which we think are hidden. His Word is active from the inside out transforming our lives so we can accomplish the purpose God has for us.

God's Word penetrates our thoughts and before we speak and we have the ability to renew our minds. Taking our bad thoughts and exchanging them for good and positive thoughts. We know that what we speak comes from the heart. So, I am going to ask you a question. How is your heart today? I hope it is one filled with good intentions.

God's Word has the power to penetrate the heart. It also has the ability separate it, viewing every moment, desire, purpose, and will.

His Word is healing (Psalm 107:20). The Word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8). My word that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void. But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV) It returns to Him but in the process causes spiritual growth. His Word is a blessing to all nations (Galatians 3:8). In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God John 1:1(NKJV).

I love the way you pray using scripture! Waiting can be a challenge at times, but when we wait expectantly for good things to come we are believing that better things are coming. Remember while you are waiting you haven't seen it yet, but I trust God that you will and so much more.

I loved this one! It’s really my go to when I’m fighting a battle. The Word is living and it is powerful or it is alive and active!

When I pray I say Lord your Word is alive and active and it accomplishes what it is sent forth to do and it does not return to me void. and I wait expectantly for great things to happen.

The other scripture is John 1:4-5 NLT

The darkness can never extinguish the LIGHT!

Thank you for bringing to my remembrance this prayer that I will stand on!

Love you💕 Shelly
