Scripture Into Prayer

I think from time to time I am going to post a prayer because prayer is a very important part of our life. I am not one of those people who will tell how to pray, however I will simply show you one of my techniques and if it is something you can use great. I will say it is something that helps me personally!

Today's prayer comes from the inspiring words found in Hebrews 12:1-2.

Father God, Since I am surrounded by such a large crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, I will strip off every weight that slows me down, especially the sin that so easily trips me up. I will run with endurance the race God has set before me. I will do this by keeping my eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects my faith. In Jesus' Name I Pray, Amen.

When I take the words such as we, us, or our and replace them with me, myself, or I the word of God becomes even more personal to me!!! Keeping it short and sweet today. I prayed that you have a very Blessed Sunday.
