Rocky Terrain

The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. Habakkuk 3:19

We all face rocky terrain and I want to encourage you that you are able to face it and climb up the rocky mountain. The mountains we see due to our circumstances makes us want to draw back at times and remain on the level ground where we feel secure. My friends we were meant for so much more. This is when we need to rely on God for our strength to continue moving forward and upward to new heights.

Often times we become weary which makes the climb seem impossible. When we are standing on rocky ground we are afraid we will stumble and fall. We all have and probably will again that's ok. Really! God is the One who carries us through and He is the One who will pick us up and continue to walk with us.

The Lord knows when we are weary and He already knows about the rocky places we will be facing. Turn and put your trust in Him! He will renew your strength and encourage you to keep going. Think about this for a moment. I am sure you have noticed that a deer is light on their feet. Think about the way you have seen a deer leap with ease. Even on the rocky terrain the deer can run with agility.

He makes us the same way; as surefooted as the deer filled with the confidence to reach new heights. If God has lead us to a rough area and the climb ahead looks rocky I promise there is something good that awaits you there.

AMEN! Makes so much sense. When we are in the presence of the Lord our confidence is high, enormous even. Even when times are hard, you are confident your God that you have been in a personal relationship with will see you through 💪🏽
