Right In the Middle

I have learned when you are right in the middle of something it can be an uncomfortable place to be. Especially when you feel like you are stuck between a rock and hard place. Know what I mean? I know when I am in the middle because it is then I am often tempted to stop in my tracks because nothing seems to be working. While on the other hand, nothing I do seems to propel me forward either.

I believe this is when we are being tested by God. I am sure you have heard this quote "When you are going through something hard and wonder where God is remember the teacher is always quiet during a test." These are times we pray and even beg at times ( knowing there is no reason to beg), but we do it anyway. Maybe this is when we have doubt or maybe it is when we become impatient. Maybe it is both. Personally it has been both for me over the last several days because I haven't heard from God.

I want you to know that in this very place of uncertainty it is also a place of learning and growing. It is in this place we ask ourselves are we being faithful or maybe question ourselves to see if we have done something wrong. Let me say I question myself. Am I trusting God or is it a lack of faith? Most of the time it is the silence that really get's to me! Know why? I am impatient at times and want to know the answer as soon as I ask a question. See what I mean? I am still learning and growing.

If you find yourself in this position I want you to know everything happens in God's timing and He is never late. Don't ever doubt that He hears you because He does loud and clear. This is all part of His plan!
