Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. Romans 12:12
Rejoice always! It is easy to rejoice when all is well, but as Christians we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. When we rejoice no matter what we are going through we are able to experience joy and gladness. These pleasurable sensations leave us feeling exhilarated.
Hope is the blessed assurance based on God's love. Because of the love of God we are able to wait expectantly and lift our head to where our help comes from. Knowing that God is in control we are able to remain calm by His power working within us. It is very important to be still in the presence of God and wait patiently for Him to act.
When we add confidence to our hope which is having full belief, trusting, and relying on God being fully assured this is how we become bold and courageous. Then we will be able to march on with courage. As we put our confident hope in you we feel the unfailing love that you lavish upon us.
Affliction is inevitable, but as we wait patiently we will endure triumphantly. We will be able to compose ourselves in a manner that pleases you. You will not only hear the words that we trust you, but you will see that we put our confident hope in you and only you by the way we act.
People should not only pray during difficult times, but at all times. It is best when we always share our thoughts and feelings having intimate fellowship with our Father. Prayer is how we develop a stronger relationship with God.
I hope whatever you are facing especially if it is a difficult time you will focus on God instead of your situation. Rejoice with confident hope!
