God Will Finish His Work Within Us

And I am certain that God who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6

God is continually doing a work within us and it starts with love. God showers us in His love and in return wants us to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength, and all our mind. Gods wants our love to abound more and more. The love God pours out on us fills us to the point it should overflow into the lives of others.

God helps us to gain more knowledge and understanding not only of the Word, or what He can do for us, but who He is. The more we learn to live according to His ways and activate the Word into our lives the more we come to realize what really matters. What really matters is developing a closer relationship with God.

He works within us filling us with the fruits of righteousness love, forgiveness, humility, joy, peace, patience, kindness, discernment, and wisdom which are by Jesus Christ. He also helps us to work on the renewing of the mind ,our attitudes, and behavior. In my opinion, I believe we all have a lot of work to be done within us and we always will.

Life can be discouraging at times because we don't feel like we have enough knowledge, feeling stuck, not worthy enough, or wasted too much time. Let's be thankful today that God is changing us from our former selves and consistently making us better versions of our self. He didn't bring you this far to leave you. His promise is that He will continue a good work in you until it is finished and God always keeps His promises. So, from now on remember you are a work in progress!
