I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well Psalm 139:14, (NKJV).
When you look in the mirror do you know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made? If not that is ok because I was once just like you. Believe when I say you are not alone in feeling this way. Ask God to help you change this way of thinking, because along with His help we have the ability to change our thoughts.
Have you ever been told that you are a mistake? Well the person who told you that was wrong. This is a fact because God doesn't make mistakes!
We are not an accident! We are God's creation the workmanship of His hands. God created us on purpose for a purpose! This is what He planned and if something is planned there is much thought that goes into it beforehand. Plans also take tome and are done deliberately on purpose.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13, (NLT).
When you stop and think about how God designed us it is very impressive. Beginning our lives as an embryo we looked so much alike. Then as we started to grow and our inner parts began to develop; with each stage of growth we become unique individuals. Made in the image of God which is the likeness of God.
In the KJV dictionary the definition of fearfully is: In a manner to impress admiration (worthy of respect) and astonishment (amazement). It also means full of awe or reverence (a feeling of deep respect). In knowing this we should stand in awe of God's power. The power to know us even before time began for us. The power of creation and a plan for our lives. I knowing this we were meant to praise (Express one's respect and gratitude) our Father-God.
When you think about the inner parts, I believe it is very important to focus on the mind and the heart. The way we think has an affect on the heart. So, you see, even if you don't feel like you're fearfully and wonderfully made you can make the choice to change thought. As you believe it in your mind I promise you will feel it in your heart. Then when asked, Do you know you are fearfully and wonderfully made? Your reply will be yes, and that my soul knows very well.
Please take the time to say this out loud so you not only hear it, but your heart receives it. Repeat it (as often as it takes) until you believe it.
I am not a mistake because God doesn't make mistakes.
I am not an accident because I was made on purpose for a purpose.
I am a unique individual made in the image of God; the likeness of God.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made and that my soul knows very well.
