Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. Hebrews 5:14
We were not meant to remain like babies who live on milk, but instead as we grow we also mature. Once we learn to chew on the solid food (Word of God) rather than drinking the milk our spiritual lives change within us. Understanding that the world needs our help we can no longer sit by and watch the world starve.
During the course of this month alone I have seen Christians around my community rise up and wanting to do their part in helping others by feeding them. I already told you that next month we have another person helping us to feed the community. Recently there is a neighbor who is ready to feed the homeless and hand out Bibles.
Life is short and there is no more time to waste. Christians are rising up to do their part and it is such a beautiful sight. It is one thing to talk about changing the world, but another to act on it. We all know what needs to be done and we need to let others know that they are loved.
It is time to stand in the gap for our fellow Christians who have become stagnant. This is something I will be doing because recently I have seen my faith getting a little cold. As I fan the flames inside me I want to help fan the flames for others as well. Will you join me in standing in the gap for others today? This is something we should be doing on a daily basis.
When we dig in a little deeper into the Word and meditate on it God shows us what we are supposed to do for others. We need to be a part of helping each other grow and teach them about what we are learning. It is time for us to be an example for others. Let's stand firm on the Rock and show others they can do the same. God thank you for using us as your hands and feet to reach out to others who desperately need your help.
We all need nourishment to rise up and become who God wants us to be. When we let go of the reasons that make us think we are unable to make a change it is then that we find out we are capable beyond measure. We don't always have to dive right in. Just rise up and say, "God here I am use me."
AMEN! I enjoyed this one. As a matter of fact my sister and I just talked about this this morning. Thank you so much 💓
