Happy Father's Day

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. Ephesians 1:5

I love Father's Day because even though many of us don't have an earthly Father we will always have a Heavenly Father. I think the best way to celebrate this occasion is move His heart today. God is moved by our prayers and our actions. "Happy Father's Day" was something I included in prayer this morning and I hope others acknowledged Him as well.

Today families are taking advantage of this day to honor their fathers by showing them love and affection. Fathers do their very best to make sure their family is provided for and have everything they need.!

They watch over them and keep them safe by protecting them from all harm. They show love and kindness and fill their home with a peaceful atmosphere. Always doing so much more.

These are only a few things our Heavenly Father does as well. He always does so much more for us! So today I encourage you to acknowledge Him for all that He has done and for who He is. I think something should be done for Him today! Let's not only tell Him but show Him as well. I believe the love and compassion shown to fathers today also moves Him. Anytime we become His hands and feet showing the fruits of the Spirit to others is how we can move Him by our actions.

Doing something good for others brings God great pleasure and moves His heart. I am sure His heart is greatly moved today. Let's do our best to make everyday Father's Day.

To move God's heart the way He moves ours.
