That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life - whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25 The same God that created life and breathes life into you everyday is not only concerned with what you eat, drink, or wear. He can be trusted with each and every detail of your life.
Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feed them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? Matthew 6:26
Don't worry about the future and storing things up. This keeps you from doing your very best today.
Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Matthew 6:27
Worrying is more harmful and doesn't help anything. Actually the more you worry it takes time away from you (wasted time) and solves nothing.
And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? Matthew 6:28-30
God cares for the lilies and they only depend on Him for a little while. Think how much more He pays attention to you knowing you will spend a lifetime depending on Him. He will take care of you for the rest of your life.
These things ( what we will eat, drink, or wear) dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Matthew 6:32
Worrying about these things shows a lack of faith and understanding of who God is. We know that God meets all of our needs.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33
We will face challenges, but God provides everything we need in order to pursue what He has called us to do. If we worry about this it will not only prolong what lies ahead, but could very well keep us from attempting them.
So don't worry about tomorrow (Matthew 6:34).
Living in the moment focusing on one day at a time will keep us from worrying so much.
Everyone worries I am just saying don't stay there and dwell on it. Give it to God immediately.
Don't worry! Be happy!
